About Me

 

My name is Adrian Chapman I created ‘Blast From the Past’ as I am passionate about inspiring young people and developing their interest in History.

I provide affordable History workshops for Primary schools. I portray some of the most important characters and events in History through a unique combination of drama, storytelling and exciting practical activities which are often based outside the classroom.

​

I work closely with teachers to ensure that I cover all the curriculum elements required and am happy to adapt workshops in order to provide a truly bespoke experience.

​

I have a background in education having taught in Cornish schools for over 25 years and I have a range of acting experiences, including work for the BBC and appearances on West CountryTelevision.

​

I create memorable days which fire the imagination of pupils and place them within touching distance of the past.
